Proto V2 is generated with an improved algorithm to reach a better precision.

It was generated with different parameters than Proto V1, showing the ability of the algorithm to make working machines on different user’s specifications.

It is able to make few minutes test runs without problem at max 300 can-ends per minute (the speed limit of the motor).

It works with size 200 aluminium can lids.

An automatically generated motion profile governs the can-end sequence, preventing collisions, minimizing shock loads and optimizing process smoothness. Phase durations (rotation – treatment – rotation) are fully configurable, allowing precise alignment with customer-specific process constraints.

Below curves are given for a machine speed of 300 can-ends per minute.

The record speed of this machine is 560 can-ends per minute. This was made possible by lubricating the guides. This solution is of course not possible for an industrial machine but FDA approved coatings will give the same results.
